Cuisinart PrepExpress® Vegetable Fruit Box Chopper

This is the best thing in the my kitchen!! Everyday I’m using and now I want to give gifts to my sisters!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this chopper. Could be a little easier to clean. But the cleaning tool works well enough.

The device is well-made, and the large blade has proven useful; HOWEVER, this morning. I used the small blade to dice an onion, which I sliced into 6 slices, and then quartered prior to using the device to chop. On the first slice, a blade fell out altogether! On a subsequent slice (which I accepted would occur without one of the vertical blades) two additional blades failed (came loose). The device is a great concept, and the large blade has worked about three times; however, the small blade is useless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the large grid a few times and it's worked great, but the first time I used the small to chop onions one of the blades bent and popped out. I was mindful not to try chopping too large a piece, but it didn't matter. Disappointing durability/quality for what would be a very handy product.

Chops well but taking it apart to clean is way too difficult. The food guide ( the part in the lid is a nightmare to remove to clean. If you do not remove it water gets stuck under it.

I bought this dicer roughly 2 weeks ago after my old one broke(different brand). I went to dice onions today for our chili, and on the first use with the small cutting dicer the blades got bent and damaged. I didn’t overfill the chopping area so I didn’t understand why. I tried fixing it with a pliers but the blades won’t go back in place. After that I used the large dice setting and was able to finish dicing my onions and that worked so smoothly. Cut like butter. I also noticed that the top piece of the equipment got damaged as well when dicing it. Almost as if the slots didn’t line up correctly.

The blades are very sharp I sliced my finger pretty bad Just be careful

Does not chop the onion into small, useful pieces, just large pieces. The smaller one 1️⃣ s so hard to push!
