The three zipper pockets are a must have for storing items needing to be readily available while traveling or hiking. I wore the vest every day because I liked it so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had an earlier version for ten years. Like the smaller baffle lines, retains heat better. Disappointed by the lack of an embroidered logo, but doesn’t affect function. Marmot products rarely disappoint on function. I worked for Yankee Candle for a decade, under the same umbrella company, and have bought many items for my family that have served us well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this vest as a backpacking layer during the shoulder seasons. It is really well made and packs down nicely into its own pocket allowing me to pack it efficiently. It is light enough without being too thin so I am not as concerned about tearing the nylon as will other backpacking jackets. Overall very happy with it and can’t wait for the cooler weather to give it a try.
