Compact radio with very good sound.

I bought this radio to listen to am news stations and music on fm. It does both very well and I am able to pick up a low power fm station (20 watts) 30 miles away . You really cant go wrong with this radio it is definitely worth the price.

I didn't actually receive the radio so this review is really for Macy's customer service. They were compassionate and quick with their response. Will shop Macy's again! Radio was stolen from my porch. FedEx did not let me know item was delivered until 8hrs later and estimated item would arrive on the wrong day. People and FedEx are awful but Macy's isn't!

Needed a Quality Radio that doesn't have rechargeable Batteries Built in. Bought it directly from SONY. Excellent Product

The on/off switch had better been incorporated in the volume control. As it is, it is a bit awkward to move the little slide-switch to either the AM or FM position in order to turn the radio on. As far as design is concerned, it would have been more practical to have a third button as an AM/FM switch. There is ample space for it in line with the volume and tuning buttons.
