[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On my canoe trip it rained for a week straight. With the purchase of the GORE TEX rain jacket, I was dry the entire time. It has amazing waterproofing and quickly dries during the night or during rain downtime. I love the way its is packable because it’s necessary to have things fit when you’re on a backpacking/canoe trip.

Bought it because of trip to Iceland, people said I need rain coast, per my understanding Gore-Tex is the best material. So, I chose Gore-Tex material, and checked to all fine brands, and found Marmot is the best choice. Whatever, the price, style, and quality.

The first day I wore it I spilled coffee on it and it beaded up immediately and was dried off. It’s comfortable and fits over my hoodie for those cold days. It’s comfortable and stylish and I can wear anywhere. I can move freely hiking or just wearing to and from work. I’m in love with this product.

I like the hood because it has a more rigid front to it to keep it on your head. The jacket has absolutely no warmth to it so don’t get it for that. Get it for those rainy warm spring days. It won’t get you too hot. It roomy enough to put over a hoodie if you need an extra layer. It’s not all stiff like the normal raincoats. I’m happy with this.

This was easy to pack and store in my luggage or backpacks. This was lightweight and kept me protected from the rain and cold. The pickets are perfect and securely held all my things. The material is breathable and very fashionable!

It has everything you could want in a jacket that’s built to defend you from the elements: it’s waterproof, windproof, and breathable. The hood provides adequate coverage and can be adjusted. The sleeves are nice and long with adjustable Velcro cuffs. The length of the coat itself is perfect - it covers your butt. The underarm zippers allow ventilation. There are substantial zippered pockets, including a left breast pocket which fits my phone. It’s stylish enough for casual wear. The only critique I have is that the sizing is a bit small. I am a large in outerwear, so I ordered a large, but this jacket is snug so that layering isn’t really an option. I recommend this jacket overall, and I recommend sizing up.
