[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I initially ordered the version without the hood and then thought having a hood would be helpful - would save needing to have a hat. Unfortunately the hood was way too big on me - seems as if designed to wear over a ski helmet. It was very loose around the head and neck - would not have blocked wind at all. No way to adjust the fit. Otherwise I liked the jacket - will be keeping the version without the hood. I ordered an XL in both to allow for layering underneath.

Love this jacket for spring and fall. Very warm and super packable.

It’s a nice lightweight puffy. The zipper feels a bit cheap and is difficult to get undone at the bottom. It’s comfy and cute and fits true to size in my opinion. Nice and packable. Not the warmest puffy ever, but it’s nice for a lightweight puffy for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owner of several marmots down in Jena & Highlander,XS that fit me (5'4", 105lb) perfectly. The Hype Down currently (2 2025) on receipt is cut bigger, the sleeves much longer and the armpit excessively roomy looking like a drumstick on wear. It's perfect to have a Jena or highlander to layer within, not the hype down as a layer under. Otherwise, the hype down is light, and warm, the insider big pockets a useful functional design, the vertiver/lime yellow combo pleasing. Am keeping jacket for layering a jena/highlander under since I am inclined to be cold and said layering works for me...The arm construction style is fine, but needs it this BIG & ROOMY..? It's esthetically not pleasing...otherwise this would a five star....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This might be the perfect lightweight yet super warm jacket. Using it through multiple seasons while living in Ireland!

The jacket is warm, soft and the fit is nice. However, the sleeves are BIG. I compared the width of the sleeves (upper portion) with my other puff jackets and the sleeves on the Hype hoody are about 3-4 inches wider. From behind, the sleeves look too big and not flattering at all. I would've exhanged for another style but I didn't have enough time. Good thing I bought it on sale because I wouldn't keep it if I paid regular price.

Excellent value when on sale and with additional discount for 800 fill down hoody which is warm. Pertex fabric seems very durable.
