I absolutely love the Bobby Flay 12-inch cast iron skillet. I had used many a cast iron pan from a very popular brand that is made in Tennessee. This pan is similar in weight, and hence, heat retention for searing. But what sets the Bobby Flay by GreenPan series apart is the handles. The handles of the other brand are level and parallel to the top of the pan, as well as only being 5 inches long. The Bobby Flay cast iron skillets have handles that are slightly over 6 inches and are angled somewhat upward, which makes this pan so much easier to pick up. Also, the helper handles have enough space to actually get your fingers between the inside of the helper handle and the exterior of the pan without burning yourself. This pan is an exceptional value, and I highly recommend it for the ergonomics and the quality.

HEAVY, RUST BADLY
I used it only once and it’s already rusted.
I bought this a couple months ago when I purchased my new home. I finally used it last night, followed all instructions, washed and dried prior to using it. And my food completely stuck to the pan. It might be ruined- I scrubbed it last night and I can’t get the burnt food off! Also I noticed a sidewall has a crack in it- I’ve never dropped it.
I returned this before using it because it was very heavy and the handles were too short to hold. Plus now it is half off!
The meat sticks to it and burns really quick and the meat is still raw.
Broken Cast Iron Pan right out of box! How can a Cast Iron Pan break? It was not shipped in the winter, and even if it was mishandled by UPS or Macy's Shipping, it's a CAST IRON PAN! This should never break. Bad product. Bobby Flay attached his name to an inferior product. Very Disappointed.
I bought this as a gift for my daughter and I'm so glad I did. She uses it quite often and she loves it. Not only does it cook well, but the way it's designed makes it easy to use. The meat comes out perfectly seared and clean up is quick and easy.
