French Connection Ladies Quinnbow Slingback Kitten Heel

These shoes were just what I was looking for as the mother of the bride. They are stylish and comfortable right out of the box, mainly due to the low heel. However, I gave this 2 stars because the shoes required more cobbling time...the strap was so short and the holes start in very deep, that there was a need to punch in more holes that go all the way to the end. I did this with a hammer and nail as I did not have time to return the shoes and ultimately, that solved the issue. I have a regular shoe size 9. I thought the ankle straps had been cut they are so short. Not a good place to cut on expense for such a nice shoe.

Comfortable, beautiful and stylish sling-back heels. The suede material is kinder to feet than most other shoe fabrics, and this sling is very comfortable for me, and so is the height. I'm a size 8.5M, and I ordered both the 8 and 9. The 8 was too tight, even adjusting the strap. The 9 fits perfectly. I did adjust the strap on one shoe only (go figure); anyway, they are easy to walk in, don't slip off, and look great. The bow is a silky and soft -- just what I was looking for. This style is great for holidays or to give an outfit (even jeans) a little "kick." Nice sale price, too. Love them!
