Hamilton Beach Dispensing Coffee Urn - 40514R

My 62 yo urn finally died, decided to try this. So far so good.

Have used this twice and now it doesn’t work. There is no switch to turn it on and no light comes on when plugged in. Seems like a simple appliance so what could possibly go wrong? Except that probably cheap wiring. Nothing to look at to try to fix either. Very disappointed

Love it, one missing part but will resolve with company.

Mine has orange light. Also, heated up first time with water, discolored the internal pot brown, I don’t have high mineral water. Lastly, lid could use an upgrade quite flimsy

We buy these every few years and they give fine service until they eventually wear out and start to leak.

Bought this coffee urn to serve coffee for the coaches at my daughter's school and it held up amazing throughout the entire wrestling tournament

Light weight and elegant

So far I only used it to heat water for hot cocoa for a school event. It is easy to assemble and the water was very hot. I feel it is quiet and fast. I will try it with coffee in it to see how it is. Hopefully no coffee grinds will spill out into the water.
