I cleaned my outside patio carpets and they look and smell brand new! I’m throughly pleased and looking forward to cleaning my inside carpets. I have borrowed my daughters Bissell (the heavy one) and it does a fabulous job also. It’s just a bit too heavy for me. This one is perfect
This carpet cleaner is easy to use. I like the power and how well it cleans the carpet. I've had a Bissell Revolution and used it for many years before it needed replacement. The revolution allows you to remove the brush/roller area for easy cleaning. The turbo clean Pet XL model does not allow you to do that, unfortunately. Overall, does what it's supposed to do.
My wife and I just used the BISSELL PowerForce Pet XL Upright Deep Cleaner on our carpet (and it has already paid for itself given the cost of professional cleaning that we used to use) to remove deep-seated dirt and stains as well as even pulling up some of our black dog's hair that had become embedded in the carpet over the years. It did a very thorough job.
Brand new used 1 time last year. Went to use it again and the water tank leaked all out. Checked everything and still leaks.
I live in a townhouse and only three rooms and a hallway have carpet, so it's not a lot. While the machine works and my carpets do look better, I had to empty and refill the tanks multiple times, we're talking like every 12 square feet either you're emptying the dirty water tank or refilling the clean water tank. I was doing one spray pass (forward and backward) and then one dry pass (forward and backward) just like the instructions said and the carpet felt pretty wet. I would like to see a more powerful extraction. In terms of the solution you put in the clean water tank I think it's a little misleading. It turns the water cloudy already so it kind of exaggerates how "dirty" the water is coming out of your carpet. Would I buy it again? No, I would probably spend more and let a professional handle it.
I used the product to clean carpet in a 12x14 bedroom. The product was easy to assemble, suction was great and easy to navigate,
I replaced old one and happy I did.
It is extremely loud like a turbo engine and the extension cord is not long enough.

Easy to use. Set up was a breeze. Delivery was quick. Happy I purchased….cleaning up after pets just got easier! Having long hair pets didn’t seem to bother the suction power of the cleaner!
