Pajama bottom should be soft as a cloud or a dream
One thing about pajamas for us men - they're an insignificant detail of life until they're not. Like, for instance, when your favorite comfortable pj bottoms have just plain worn out. Your wife is shocked that you're walking around with pajamas that have holes in them! So I bought a couple at Macys. I like the muted earth tones, blues and greens, nothing loud for me when you want to go to sleep. Turns out Nautica knows how to make real comfortable pj bottoms for guys. Soft as a cloud or a dream. A good dream.

Oversized and Poor Quality
I got a size M, which is supposed to be for waist sizes 32-34, but it would have been too big for 36. The fabric was coarse and may soften some with washing but it was also very thin and I don't think it would hold up very well.
