They have good arch support (came with 2 sets of inserts), fit a wider toe box, and are quiet when walking on hard surfaces. I would say that they are better than the Frank Sarto and Sam Edelman flats, except they need more color options and genuine leather (not sure if the synthetic will last). I tried many flats and these were the best for me overall. I wear size 8 generally, and chose a 7.5 that fit the best.
I did not like the suede version of the Alameda Mary Jane. The suede seemed very thin and the shoe seemed like they would not hold up well. I returned them for the smooth leather version and love the smooth leather ones.
I bought these shoes to wear in the setting s a classroom teacher. The leather on the toes has started to peel off after only 9 months of wearing them once a week. The quality of the leather is poor.
They are very comfortable for walking in
I am on my feet all day. These shoes are supportive and comfortable while still looking nice with dresses or slacks.

Both these shoes in navy suede. I am typically between 7 and 7.5 but take a 7 in Vionics. These fit perfect. Comfortable for walking and so cut and stylish, especially with wide leg pants! Don’t hesitate to buy!
I bought these for a special occasion and have been wearing them around the house. Initially, they are comfortable, but the heel space (too large) is very noticeable and starts to rub. The back sides rub too and when you look at the shoe, the back are formed quite narrow, so hopefully, I can get them to fit my feet comfortably. The toe and front are fine.
Shoe felt good but start too notice. Strap not secure the Velcro not secured. I’m older and need total support . I do not need too fall.
My feet hurt a lot and I have high arches and for some reason I thought that the insole was going to be more spongy. But I do appreciate having two insoles and I'm guessing the leather will get more comfortable with wearing them.. As of now, I have to wear a blister blocker on the back of my heel, so I guess I wish it was comfortable right out of the box.. Also, the cut is so low. I cannot wear the little socks that I can usually wear with my Mary Jane's.. I did scuff the toe a little and I was happy to see how it easy. It was to clean. Thank you..
