The North Face Men's Base Camp Voyager Daypack Bag

I have the same one but in an extra-large size, and I've had it for three years now. Voyager bags tend to hold up well despite use and the passage of time.

I purchased this backpack in December 2023 after my previous canvas backpack got soaked through during my first couple months of bike commuting. One problem with this bag is that the zippers are not covered, so with any rain, water is getting through the zippers. And, with any more rain than a drizzle, the fabric of the bag gets soaked through. If you get stuck in heavy rain, the bag takes a few days to dry. I do really like the size and organization of the bag, although the shape is a little too rectangular. The top front pocket has a ton of great storage for all types of small items like pens, cash, and personal supplies. If it's full, though, or if the rest of the pack is quite full, that can make the bottom front pocket a little bit hard to access. The middle compartment between the laptop compartment and the two front compartments is a bit hard to organize. Particularly if there are items in the zippered mesh pocket in the middle compartment, it can be hard to get to the bottom. Further, I feel like the laptop compartment could have additional organization. It can fit more than just a laptop, and since the middle compartment can be hard to organize, sometimes I will put books and my laptop in the laptop compartment and my lunchbag or gym clothes in the middle compartment, rather than putting all my non-laptop items in the middle. For a bag of this size, I appreciate that there are two separate 'main' compartments.

This is a great looking and convertible backpack between daily packing, hiking, and traveling. This 26L backpack is actually larger than The North Face Recon and Borealis because of the shape is square. You can also buy few key ring add it to the daisy chain loop, so you can use them to clip charmings, sanitizers, tripods, trekking poles, water bottle, and umbrella without falling off.

Looks good, feels great to wear. Love the smaller size for portability but you can still fit so much into the bag. Great for everyday carry, traveling for a day or two

So far, 6 trips with this as my main carry on. The pocket layouts are great. Quality is great. Only thing missing is luggage pass through, and wish it could sit upright on its own.

The bag is great just a little too small for me. I exchanged for the next size up and I love it. If all you need to carry is a lap top and not much else this is your bag.

I bought this backpack for short trips because in the common laptop backpack you cannot fit a lot of clothes for 2 or 3 days, this one is perfect, feels very good with quality materials, and look very nice
