BOGS Men’s Workman Composite Toe Boot

I used these boots in a marsh. My feet stayed dry. These boots breathe far better than rubber boots. They are lighter than I expected, especially for a safety toe. I am pleased with the weight and stability. The heel shape works to keep the boot on, however it is challenging to walk long distances. I wish that I had sized down for security. I am typically a size 9.5, so I purchased a size 10. There is a lot of extra space at the calf, which lets debris in from above. The boots do slip side to side slightly, so you must be careful if you're in slippery mud. They fit well enough that I did not develop blisters, for what that's worth.

The soft tow version is great. I wore out the soles in 2 years. Fit my orthotics. Was excited when i finally got to get a composite toe version. Even tho you xan remove the double insoles, one for width, the toebox was smooshing on right & left. Not usable. Had to return for soft toe. I was disappointed cause while not an industrial user, i really wanted the extra protection for some tasks, but i know wearing shoes that dont fit right can mess with your foots structure & function, not just calluses & short term pain.

I love my Bogs. They are the best for a muddy substation. Easy on / easy off - I keep my testing trailer shoes inside and can go between easily

Great boot for cold WY winters. Fits accordingly and stays on in the thick mud.

Better fit and more comfortable than muck boots....it is that simple.

I work outside and during the winter I need warm, rugged safety toe boots that can stand up to water, snow and harsh chemicals. These boots do all of that excellently. My last pair has lasted 5 years before the neoprene started to separate from the rubber main. I just replaced my work boots but my old pair will still work excellently for clearing snow and salting at home for, what I'm sure, will be many years to come.

My husband works 12-16 hour days. The majority of that time is spent drilling on his feet outside in unshoveled areas of snow, (this 2025 Chicago winter is no joke.) These are hands down the BEST winter boots he has ever had. He is so impressed by them, he doesn't even bother with his wool socks anymore! We are buying a pair for all of our field workers.

I bought this a month ago to work on a vessel in the Arctic from Oct-Nov. I think the temperature went as low as 0 F, and it kept my toes warm up to 2 hrs, after which I was feeling a bit of a chill. In this scenario, there was minimal walking around, mostly standing still/shuffling/tossing gears in and out of a small boat. That said, my feet are the first part of my body that gets cold, and I only had a pair of thick wool socks below them. I bought a size 10. These were the widest boots (after removing the insole for width adjustment) that I could find without being absurdly long among BOGS, Muckboots and XTRATUF. For casual shoes, I am a size 9 3EE, so there were some room in the front, but walking around was comfortable enough. I did have to rest my feet every 2 hrs or so because it was a bit tight.

Keeps my husbands feet dry in construction during the winter. They look huge and bulky but they work.
