I truly hate the cheap tableware found all around the U.S., even in supposedly fine restaurants. I have a lot of silver that was accompanied by a lifestyle I no longer have or want, so am slowly replacing with these beautiful and more practical pieces. These are solid, lovely and balanced.

The finish is beautiful with a mix of hammered and smooth that perfectly blends together. They do very well in the dishwasher and have a good weight to them. I have had many flatware sets in my lifetime, and this is by far the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flatware gives a boost of good spirit to the table. It is elegant enough for fancy dinners and playful enough for everyday. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that if you look closely, the workmanship at the joints isn't perfect -- it's fine, the issue is subtle, most people won't notice, and I use it proudly, but it just can't earn a 5 with imperfect workmanship.
