I'm 72. My generation had ugly raincoats. Always dull. often black. Last week I went wild. Yes indeed. Got a womens' waterproof....raincoat in "rich ginger brown". I feel like a new woman. Fit perfect, based on website measurements. Woo hoo!
I love the fit and style of this jacket very much. The one problem is the sleeves are way too long. The size I bought was a tall large.
Just returned from 10 days in Scotland and this jacket was used everyday! It was perfect for rain proof, wind resistant, perfect top layer and the hood stayed on and didn't interfere with my sightseeing! Highly recommended if you're traveling to Scotland!
Bought this a few weeks ago for our trip to Nova Scotia in early Oct. I did alot of research because I needed a packable, water resistant coat with mesh lining (to wick and circulate). This coat has all of it at a reasonable price. Well made with sturdy zippers. I chose green because fall and spring can get dreary outside. I’ll layer with blue or black to keep it simple. My blue vest fit underneath the coat just fine. I’m 5’8” and followed Lands End sizing suggestions and bought a large. Perfect.
Very disappointed. The sleeve cuff is extremely loose...barely any elastic. As if it was older and had given out. Ence, the sleeve is practically to my knuckles. Not at all breathable. This jacket was to replace the same style from 3 years ago. The difference is night and day. Don't waste your money.
Fabulous jacket!! Loved the fit, and so glad it came in TALL. I loved the way it could be gathered it at the waist. Long enough to cover my rearend as well. Told two friends I was traveling with and they also bought one to take along on our August Alaskan cruise.
This is a lovely rain jacket and I love how it all packs into one pocket. The 3 star rating has to do with the sizing choices. I am tall and need long torso, but also need a 1x plus size. I ended up getting an XL Long torso, and the arms are a little tight. There is no option for a plus size long torso. So according to Lands End, I can be tall or plus sized, but not both. The same goes for bathing suits, there is only one style that comes in long torso/plus.

I bought this squall raincoat jacket about l month ago and am very pleased with purchase. It runs a little large, but it makes it easy to layer with. Light blue is true to description. Love the color. I'm 5 ft 7 in and weigh 85 lbs, my size is Small so I ordered a Small, tall and the fit is great.
This is the second one that I have purchased! I love the colors and had to get the peach one. It is completely waterproof and keeps me dry when I walk my dog in the rain!
