[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the glass design, the bottles feel sturdy without being heavy. We’ve only been testing this for a few weeks, but from what I can tell so far, glass doesn’t tend to hold onto odors or discolor over time. They’ve stayed fresh and clean-looking, which is especially nice when you’re using bottles regularly. The silicone sleeves have also been a great addition, they make the bottles easier to grip during feeds, especially handling glass bottles around my baby. For my little one, the slowest nipple worked best. Since I’m breastfeeding, I was also happy with how “smoothly” my baby transitioned between breast and bottle eventho, he is still getting used to taking bottles. Overall, I’ve been really impressed with this newborn gift set and I think it would make a great addition to a baby registry and a thoughtful baby shower gift, especially for parents who prefer glass bottles like I do.

We only like to use glass bottles for our baby, and these have made it top on our list. It is super convenient that the bottle sleeves came with it, so we didn’t have to buy it separately. The cover makes it easier for our baby to grip the bottle and feed herself. We didn’t have to worry about the bottle shattering if she were to drop it. We also love how easy it was to clean them. There weren’t super small parts you have to worry about missing and growing mold. Our girl is currently switching from exclusively breastfeeding to taking bottles, and we found the 2 size nipple is helping her ease into that transition as she figures it all out. I would recommend any new mom to add these to her registry!!

I wanted a glass set and to not use plastics so the fact that this comes with a silicone sleeve to protect the bottle made a world a difference and gave an ease of mind that the bottle was protected. The sleeve is very easy to take on and off. My baby took to the bottle right away, it was easy to grip and the flow on the size 2 nipple was great for my baby. I have a quick letdown when feeding from the breast so she was able to keep up with the bottle flow. It was very easy to clean and did not change color after washes and continues to look brand new. I would highly recommend this set for a baby shower gift or for any mom looking for glass bottles.

The gift set was exactly what a new mom would need it came with a 4 ounce bottle and 8 ounce bottle with the cute silicone sleeves. I loved the glass design it felt sturdy, unbreakable, and still lightweight. I felt they were super easy to wash and there were no lingering smells after washing them either. My little one liked flow 2, but for a newborn it might be different. The transition between breast and bottle was easy, no difficulties here, which is exactly why I love these bottles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a newborn baby that’s a month old. She doesn’t take bottles often as she’s breastfed, but the need for it if there. I’ve never used a Avent bottle of any type before out of my 5 children. First, I do believe that the included nipple was too slow for my girl as after 25 minutes, the amount was the same in the bottle. I’m not letting that deter my rating as I can just go buy a new sized nipple. It has not changed her latch on me at all which is remarkable. The glass is phenomenal, way better than plastic bottles. It doesn’t sweat once you bring it out of the fridge, which is a huge perk. The silicone bottle sleeve helps SO much so my hands aren’t freezing while feeding her. It’s not a heavy bottle, which is perfect for when she starts holding her own. I love that this set has both 4oz and 8oz, because it would make the perfect gift for a baby shower! I especially like that the bottles are glass because they feel clean, sanitary, and easy to sterilize. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am rarely blown away by a product but this one met every single expectation I had! Firstly the glass bottles come with sleeves, I have them sitting on my night station and I can easily pop one on when switching bottles. I also love that my LO can grip her bottle during feeds and that it adds a touch of extra protection from falls or slips. Love that they have cut outs on the side so you can see the ounces. Game changer. Secondly the tops are the biggest joy I’ve had when using these bottles. The tops DO NOT LEAK and they screw on so seamlessly, this is great for those 3am feedings couldn’t tell you how many times I spilled milk on myself from leaking bottles before I found these. My child transitioned great from breast to bottle and the latch she has to this specific nipple is perfect. She was on flow 1 and I switched to flow 2 with these bottles and the flow was not too fast. The transition was great. And lastly the design is just beautiful, I will be grabbing this set for every expecting mom from now on, very impressed! We used this bottle set with our newborn for the first 2 1/2 weeks of her life. She took to the bottle immediately without issue. We appreciated the slow flow nipple that prevented her from guzzling down the bottles. My favorite thing about the bottles is the measurements on the side that are both accurate and detailed, which is perfect for tracking milk intake for a newborn who takes small quantities. I also appreciated that they are glass instead of plastic so no concern of micro plastics entering my baby using this set. However, for a baby with a high palate and lip and tongue ties, the nipple shape of this bottle set isn’t the best choice, which is why we have decided to stop using them. I believe this bottle set could work very well for a baby without ties. Additionally, I felt like a little bit of milk got stuck on the lip of the bottle top which as a mom you know every drop of breast milk is precious so I didn’t like the waste. We also personally didn’t use the silicone sleeves as we felt it made it hard to determine how much milk was left in the bottle while feeding.

This is our second baby and I’m so glad we were able to use these bottles. There is a definite change in the design from the original. Thinner glass but still durable and a convenient silicone sleeve that makes feeding a breeze, especially when you’re sleep deprived. We haven’t had any issues with the nipples and cleanup is a breeze. Highly recommend putting this on your registry to get started since there are multiple flows to grow with your baby. Especially if you’re looking for going the glass route. 10/10 Philips does it again!!
