I accidentally got sapphire when I wanted emerald so I was able to compare both when I got my hands on them. Because the sapphire is so dark you can barely see any flaws. However the emerald one had clear clarity issues. Sadly, I had to return it. Its size and design is quite nice. For the price I just expected more clarity.

The earrings are beautiful. I bought these earrings as a gift for my niece who was born in May. The stone for May is emerald. When I took them out of the bag and checked them out I wasn't surprised that they sparkled. Macy's jewelry is always lovely. I'm glad I was able to purchase these when they were on sale. With my Star Money added, it made the purchase affordable. I am very pleased.
They are very pretty earrings. Nice size, not too small or too big, definitely for lobe earrings, too big for a second piercing. The ruby is too red, so I am not sure about the quality of the stone.

I love them. The earrings are beautiful; I just wish they were a little bigger. The quality is very good ; the diamonds are shiny, and the ruby looks natural. They go with everything. I also bought a ruby ring to match them.
