This was fairly thick and was intended to be a mid layer. The fluffy fleece creates a drag in the sleeves when worn with a shell. I sized up because my hips are wider. I didn’t have to do that but if the fleece had worked otherwise, I would have kept it because I intended to wear a base layer as well. I returned it due to the drag issue.
I purchased this to replace my Apex jacket based on the online description. They are not remotely the same. This is a very light jacket, pretty much a glorified long sleeve shirt.
It’s a keeper. Lightweight and keeps you cozy but not too warm.
I was not pleased with how the jacket hung around the waist. There was not a drawstring so it flared out and was not flattering. I did return the jacket.
