Both my 5- and 3-year-old love it, and even my 4-month-old seems interested, despite the lack of high-contrast details. It looks even better in real life and is exceptionally soft - perfect for cuddling. It has held up great after multiple washes, and the size is just right for a lovey. Highly recommend!
