these jeans are very comfortable, fit great in waist and perfect length, but the entire leg is wide. I wouldn't say there's a defined flare at the bottom. I'm undecided if I'll keep them.

For petites, the waist is very high but the width and length of the waist legs is excellent.
Although they run a little small, all my other jeans are 6 petite. I exchanged a 6 for an 8 petite; I love the fit and the great material. I really like the high rise straight style. Very flattering and can wear with top tucked in with a belt or an overtop. I like so much, I ordered second pair!!!!
