He gets up very early to get to the shuttle for work and it’s has been quite chilly in the mornings. He said this jacket really protects from the wind and the rain just drips right off. Definitely keeps him warmer and dry than his old jacket. The only criticism he had was the sleeves could be a little bit longer but he’s tall with long arms so for now this would not be a problem. He also commented that the hood could have been a bit bigger. But he just wears a beanie under it, no problem. He really like the layers, so when spring comes again he will be able to remove a layer and keep wearing it. Both of us are very happy with this jacket and would definitely recommend.

I am usually not a fan of the coats with a removable inner liner, but I do like this one. It doesn't get sucked up in your arms of the coat when taking it off. I will probably just wear it as a normal coat with everything together but the inner coat is nice as well. Enough pockets and zippers seem high quality. Only thing that could be improved is the length of the arms could be longer...although I deal with this issue on a lot of clothing items.

Now that winter is almost here, with his having an outer and inner jacket, this system is very good at keeping the cold out. The fit is perfect. Inside of the inner jacket is very soft and helps keep warmth in. We're still in the in-between days here in Indiana so this is perfect when I need something warmer during and early ride, and something lighter later in the day.

It also has a lot of pockets which I really like. The big outside later has 3 zippered pockets on the outside, and then another inside by the chest. This one is deep and perfect for a phone. The removable jacket part has two pockets and also one on the inside. This is a great all weather jacket.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing jacket for fall and winter weather! It is a 3-1 convertible jacket that allows you to wear the underlayer when it is not colder weather. The hood unzips and is detachable if you aren't going to be in wind.
