On many of the plates are small little random black flex. It’s not on every plate, but probably about a third of them and the edges almost had this bent appearance very uneven when they’re stacked.

Our order was promised on 6/5 and delayed and promised again on 6/13 but did not arrived and tracking doesn't provide any updates anymore. Macys has not updated since 6/8 to tell me the first time it was relayed. Wish someone would tell me something.
The plates are a different size than my other two sets that I bought a year ago. These are larger and deeper. Quality control is definitely needed.
The glaze on these plates is nice and tough, though it does have tiny bubble holes off an on if you look closely in the light. Also, the weight or 'heft" feels like good quality. However, the edges of the plates look very wavy from the side, with the middle drooping down to the outer corners, and uneven edging in places. They look bad when stacked in the cabinet from the side view. I ordered 2 sets and both have the same issues, so sadly, I will be returning them.
I live these dishes. They are very well made and have a bit of weight which makes them feel well worth the price. They are very stylish and simplistic that my food is what is in the spotlight. Love the lip on them. Make carrying food on the plate to the table easy. I would recommend these dishes for anyone who wants some classy dishes!
Both sets were shipped in 1 box with inadequate protection. Very heavy it was a miracle only 1 bowl arrived broken. Finish is substandard with fish eyes on all surfaces and not a lot of consistency with the sizes. I have now assumed that these are all rejects. You get what you pay for
