Journee Collection Women's Lummie Lace Up Sneakers

Very uncomfortable

Have not received the shoes and today is 6/3/2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My FAVORITE sneakers! They are so comfortable while still being chic enough to go with anything. I brought them on my Europe trip and they passed the cobblestone test. I’ve walked miles, stood for hours, danced the night away in these shoes. 10/10 would recommend. (I usually wear an 8 in sneakers, but the 7. 5 fits perfectly. )

This boots looks great but dangerous to walk around or on wet floors. The bottom has no grip and you can fall down as I have a few times. Don’t use if you are heading on a subway on a wet day. You will be sliding everywhere. I started wearing after the return date so I am going to trash it since I don’t want anyone else to use it and fall

The product description clearly states sneakers, which is why I initially assumed the sneakers may have been placed in a different box for shipping. That was not the case. Instead of the sneakers that were ordered, an entirely different product (boots) was sent. This was not a billing or labeling issue—the correct description was attached to the order. The issue was a failure at the warehouse level to verify the actual item inside the box before shipping. This is a basic quality control step and should not be missed.

These sneakers are very comfortable and, like most Journee Collection shoes, are available in larger sizes for people with larger feet like me. But they not only feel good, but they look good too. They are a simple black (I modified mine with black laces) with a white accent piece on the upper counter for a very basic but classy look. They go well with shorts, jeans, or even a long dress. All in all, a versatile foundation for numerous outfits at a bargain price.

I ordered and received my very first pair of Journee Collection shoes ever as I continue to search for shoes that don't hurt my damaged feet that continue to heal but not quickly enough. I received a wonderfully luxurious feel/look pair of black lace-up that I wanted to keep. But, the right one was worn in and had stretched too much while the left one, not so much! So, I've decided to return the flash sale priced pair, get my refund and purchase, if I must, a full priced new pair that no one else has ever tried on before. I really do highly recommend these! Just remember that you get what you're willing to pay! Flash sale price, I've recently been reminded, usually results in previously tried on and perhaps worn in shoes that someone else has returned. Keep on shopping at Macy's! Ladybug from West Dundee!
