The listing clearly showed that a memory card was included, but it was missing. While handling this situation, I didn’t feel supported by Macy’s at all. Even though I bought the camera through Macy’s, I was repeatedly sent to the third-party seller, Adorama, and was basically expected to resolve the issue with them myself. Adorama said their system showed the bundle without the card and that the issue was on Macy’s side. I spent about a week dealing with this and hours in conversations just trying to get what was advertised, all while not being able to use the camera. Eventually, I received some compensation, but after everything was resolved, I still ended up losing about $75 overall — almost the full price of the advertised memory card. The worst part: more than three weeks later, Macy’s still hadn’t fixed the listing, and the memory card was still shown as included. That means the next customer will run into the exact same problem.
