The rubber strap is very difficult to remove because it goes under the top strap. The face does not illuminate as bright as it should, hard to read at night.

Excellent watch but make sure
Excellent watch but make sure the advertising photo matches the real life watch dial. No red diver flag on my quartz model. Apparently that’s only for the automatic versions.

The watch is OK. It
The watch is OK. It seems to be built on good quality materials and has a nice design. However, I didn't get the exact same piece I saw on the website's photos. The one I received does not have the red scuba diving flag on the dial, and I think this adds a nice touch to the watch's overall looks. So I am a bit disappointed. This is why I prefer trying my watches on before buying them.

Simple, tough, and capable. . . but
Simple, tough, and capable. . . but the bezel on mine was installed a half-click off center. Has no effect on the general functioning of the watch (which is great); something like that might annoy some, others might not care.

Does not take a licking and keep on time ticking
Purchased this deepwater timex less than 8 weeks ago. Tried to adjust the time for daylight savings and the watch would stop every time I screwed the crown back in. Tried a couple of more times then the stem popped out. Unfortunately the Macy’s return window closed.

It’s almost illegible with very poor lume. Recommend full sword hands with significantly better lume.

Very disappointed in Timex. I
Very disappointed in Timex. I thought it was suppose to be a rugged watch. The first watch was of such poor quality it was returned immediately. This the second watch I ordered is extremely dangerous to a diver. The band has a large gaping hole inn it by the buckle. Which reduced the strap to thinness that not acceptable. The second dangerous feature of the watch is the pins that hold the strap to the watch, For reasons unknow they have a tab that protrudes outward. Allowing for the pin to snag and dislodge from the the watch. Being a nitrox certified, open water diver, it would be terrifying on a decompression stop to find your watch missing. Not a very well thought out watch that is supposed to be rugged, Takes a licking and keeps on ticking? Not any more
