Good American Petite Mid-Rise Flare-Leg Jeans

The length was perfect, finally, but the material is bulky and heavy. I would have ordered a smaller size if I had known.

Too long. Tried to return. They only allow 14 days to return or exchange an item.

I’m 5 feet 2 inches and these fell at a great length for me. Fit was great, bought a size 8 155lbs and apron belly hidden nicely in these.

These are super flattering, cinching, and yet still comfortable! My big issue is the inseam. Petite is VERY short, like must wear flats, and I am 5’2”. I can’t imagine a 5’4” girly in the petite like they advertise. The regular length is way too long, and if I hemmed, I’d lose too much flare. I went with the petite and will only wear it will flats, but I’d love a pair of flares I could wear with heels. I’m an athletic 130lb and ordered a 6. In most other brands (American Eagle) I am a 4, so I do feel like GA in general runs a little tighter.

I’m usually a size 22, but these are a little loose. I’m going to keep them but also order a 20. I love the shape of these jeans. It’s so hard to find shorter inseams in bigger waist sizes. Just having the knee hitting the right spot is such a treat.

I am right on the petite border at 5’4. 5”. The length of these is just right for sneakers. Although people report they are “true to size”, I agree IF you go by your usual size and NOT by the size chart. By the size chart I was a solid size 4, but I couldn't come close to buttoning those and I measured the waist band of the jeans - 27”. They don’t come all the way to my waist and with a 27” waist I really needed closer to 29” for these to fit. I was afraid I needed to go up 2 sizes, but I got the 6 and they are stretchy so they fit perfectly. I tried the 8 and they were too big. I have larger than average thighs and these were snug on the thighs, but not terrible. The material is super soft. New favorites!

The item description stated the inseam was 30", but the pair I received measured under 29". Unfortunately, that made them look too short even for my 5'2" frame. This isn’t the first time I’ve had sizing or length issues with Good American denim, and I’m disappointed by the ongoing lack of consistency across their products. For the price point, I expect more reliable measurements and fit.

These run small in the waist. Wouldn’t recommend.
