Lands' End Men's Traditional Fit Short Sleeve Madras Shirt

Website said it was a traditional fit. It was NOT. It was like a slim fit.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. The fit is great and it’s a wonderful summer shirt. well-made.

Excellent product, soft and well made. Also at a good price. I had to exchange the small size for a medium one assuming that it was the American size. Sizes for this pruct are European standard sizes.

This is a nice looking and fitting shirt however the fabric does not feel like the madras I remember.

The fit is excellent and very comfortable; perfectly sized. The material is very lightweight and just right for hot weather.

Good lightweight shirt - comfortable feel, true fit

I own a Lands End Madras shirt from eons ago and it still is wearable and has the traditional Madras look. This shirt is a disappointment. It looks and feels similar to any other poplin shirt. The only reason I did not return it is that it fits and is useable as a summer camp shirt. I am 6'1", 185 lbs. This shirt fits like a large from other vendors.

I was so disappointed with the shirts. My son has been buying these shirts for many years and they have always been good quality and fitted true to size. However these shirts fitted no where. They were cut completely wrong. It was such a pity as the material was very nice soft cotton. I returned them for a refund.

Way too big, huge arm holes, short sleeves past the elbows, flimsy see-through material. I'd return it, but I got it at a great price (gee, I wonder why) and went ahead and washed it in hot water, dried it on high, hoping this all-cotton shirt would shrink a little. It didn't. Other'n all that, it was just peachy. This shirt was totally uncharacteristic for a Lands End-branded product. Prior to this, I've ended up with the highest quality, best fitting shirts, and have always received compliments on them. This was my first LE fail. But, I'll still buy most of shirts here at Lands End.
