I have been making due since covid with a lower-end at home reformer with minimal accessories. This has been a great addition, ensuring i can safely stretch my neck and spine after class. Its incredibly durable, really comfortable, and so high quality!

The top has a decent cushion foam and covered with faux leather. It’s comfortable to exercise without being slippery or sinking in. The curve helps to stretch out your spine after long day on the computer or phone. It comes with a DVD showing the exercises you can do with the barrel. I would recommend to update the DVD to a more newer version. We live in a technology age where we scan QR code and play video on smart TV. The DVD is giving a 1970 vibe and so not motivated people to workout. Hire a fitness influencer and make a new version that worthy of the quality consumer is paying for this! Otherwise it’s a beautiful, well made, high quality barrel and I can use for various pilate workout forms.

The handles on the sides are easy and strong enough to hold as you do your strengthening exercises and there is a cloth-type handle to carry and to move to store when not using. Included with the barrel is a DVD with beginner, intermediate and advanced levels that are easy to follow and provide a myriad of exercises to keep your exercises varied and fun. I have noticed as I age that I seem to 'slump' a bit more and am super excited to continue using this barrel and workout tape to strengthen not only my back but my lungs. I have this in my dedicated exercise room to add to my daily exercise routine.

The padding is comfortable, not too firm. It’s more light than I expected it to be, which is nice that it is easy to move around.
