Super Sculpey Medium: Gray - 1lb

I love working with this product! It's easy to work with, whether it's adding or removing clay. I often use it over aluminum foil and wire structures to make various figures. There are endless possibilities since it holds textures well, has zero shrinkage when baked (great if you want 2 pieces to fit together), and paints with standard acrylic paints wonderfully!

I needed a clay that would hold up well when working on small sculptures.

I switched from another brand to sculpey a while ago and it has made a huge differnce to my models. Even after some time in storage it is still the perfect texture without any need to work it and I find that medium is just the right balance of soft and hard, it's easy to use but won't collapse or get squashed as you pick it up to try and add a feature. It's worth noting that sculpey will also blend seamlessley into itself so you won't find any unsightly lines where you put another piece on what you're making. I'll definitely be buying more of this in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was A Christmas Present from my dad. I honestly wasn't sure about it at first. However once I opened it and there wasn't a blast of smell, I was excited to try it out. I found a small ball of it while having conversations keep me less distracted. Once I Fired it I found that it was more fun than Fidget toys. And the textures you can carve into them add uniqueness.

The medium Super Sculpey is exactly as advertised. Soft enough to move easily, but firm enough to sculpt. I still prefer the Firm sculpey for detailed work and less distortion.

This product is a great middle ground between Super Sculpey and Super Sculpey Firm. Super Sculpey is great but can get too soft after it warms up in your hands, Firm holds great detail but can be hard to condition and doesn’t always blend easily. This product acts like Firm but is not as hard on your hands. Overall very satisfied.

I like the medium grade Sculpey the best of all the different types. It offers a good balance between workability with hands and tools. I ordered a fee blocks for a project and it was delivered pretty fast too. I'm very pleased with the product and service.

I wanted to try a firmer clay than the normal super sculpey beige I use and it did not disappoint, good quality as well.

I have been using super sculpey my entire career and was happy when the Firm came out. However I often found myself blending the Firm with the Super. Now this perfect blend of the two saves me blending time and gives me more actual sculpting time in my studio.
