Normally, I wear a size 10 US, 41 in most European shoes, 40 in Birkenstock, normal width. I tried the 10/41 in the closed toe sandals and the 11/42 in the fisherman sandals. The 10 was far too narrow and the length was about right. The 11 was too long and the width fit across the top but the cork footbed was still narrow. They do have a noticeable arch and toe grip but otherwise are flat rather than molded.
