Democracy Petite "Ab"solution Mid-Rise Corduroy Straight-Leg Jeans

I ordered the color Espresso but received a dark gray color, which they don’t offer. So if you are expecting a deep brown that’s not what you’ll get. They fit okay, seemed a little short on my (I’m 5’1”) compared to the many jeans I’ve ordered from them. Also a bit stiff. Unfortunately will return these.

I am just under 5'4" and these were above my ankles. The espresso color was gray. I took them out in the sunlight to see if it was lighting in my house. They were gray. I returned them. I love Democracy but these seemed like rejects.

This brand always fits me. Length is great. I’m 5 ft.

It is difficult to find cords that fit my "mature" figure. These have an excellent stretch waistband that does not squeeze or gap. I do not love the big button closure- those are hard to close. But at least I don't have to hold my breath while closing it.

I love the fit in the waist and hips. I ordered a 2P. It says "strait leg", but its more of a boot cut, especially on short legs! Keeping them because they were on sale.

These cords are great. Soft cord, lovely colors, perfect fit. The mid-rise was the reason I had to part with these and return them. So sad, such rich colors. No other style for this brand, which I had never heard of, has all the good traits in a high-rise. One review mentioned this;I figured it’d try anyway thinking maybe she was wrong. She wasn’t.
