If you look at the difference between the womens and men's wetland Mucks boots... its embarrassing. These go calf high too. Just because im a women, doesnt mean the wetlands i go into are more shallow or less mucky than wetlands a man goes into. I am a wetland scientist and can confirm i will not be supporting these boots.
My previous Wetland Boots lasted 8 years. So I bought another pair to replace them. Satisfied with Muck Boots. They work hard.
I bought these because my male coworkers swore they were the most comfortable boots he ever had. While these are good for having to wade through the occasional stream during fieldwork, they are NOT great for high heat/high humidity environments or for any amount of hiking. After one day of work I ended up with blisters in areas I don't usually get them and feet so sweaty I looked like I had trench foot. Initially comfortable on flat surfaces was okay but after climbing up and down streambanks and swales my feet were torn up. I'll keep these for in-water work up to my ankles, but will have to buy another pair to take with me for any amount of hiking.
The Wetland Muck Boot I recently purchased for my wife is perfect. The boots fit like a pair of tennis shoes and are very comfortable. Her feet stay dry and she stays happy.
Got my first pair today and I absolutely love them they’re keeping my feet dry and warm ! I usually have to get a wide calf but I didn’t have to with these !

This is my 3rd pair of muck boots. They are the best option in this style boot, but, I wish they would make the calf material of something sturdier. I've only had this pair a couple weeks and there is already a tear in the fabric. They do keep your feet warm and dry and have moderate support.
I’ve worn Muck boots for years as a hunter and veterinarian. Got a pair for my lady and she looks for reason wear them all the time. These are great boots.
Good boot. They are big for sizing, but that is good for thick socks. Waterproof and sturdy.
