Used them for a few weeks now for marshland field work and they work fine. A little stiff around the foot and ankle and the sole is hard. Seem waterproof so far. Not as comfortable as the old wetland pair that I had. I’m guessing they won’t last as long either. They seem a little more cheaply made.
I'm a muck boot fan and have worn them for over a decade. I always wear the Wood Max. Fir the first time, I ordered them online rather than buying in person. I selected a woman's size seven and was surprised when it showed up different than what I already had. It was not the woody max mens/womens combination boot. It was womens only. The top was flimsy and the sole was different. I decided to try them out anyway. I wore them all weekend in the field, over 8 hours each day. I ended up loving the thinner tops which I could fold down to make it cooler. But at the end of the day, my feet absolutely ached. With my other woody max, I could wear them all day and my feet always felt comfortable and supported. I don't understand why a women's only woody max doesn't have the same support. It's Monday morning and my feet still ache. I will not buy these boots again.
I am awaiting hip replacement surgery and have not tried them on just yet!
Boots seem great but according to the sizing chart on the Muck Boot website I take a 7.5 yet they don’t offer half sizes. I ended up ordering both a 7 and an 8 and had a tough time deciding which pair to keep because neither fit was perfect.
Love the boots, but got blisters after an hour of wear.
The Woody Max is my 2nd pair of Muck Boots. Wetlands was my first. They are true to size and get more comfortable as you wear them. They are water proof & keep your feet warm. My Wetlands are about a decade old so I figured I better break in a new pair.
Purchased as a gift for my wife. She found them comfortable enough to spend.a day afield in them right out of the box. The roll-down uppers will prove useful in the warmer part of bird season next fall.
These are the best for barn chores and for keeping your feet warm and dry during cold weather! Love my new Mucks!

I liked these more than expected. I had the OG black chore boots for years until they gave out and these new boots are significantly lighter! Also taller! Very happy, zero regrets. I usually wear a women’s 10 in boots and these fit as expected.
