MAC Lipglazer Glossy Lip Liner

​I used it around the perimeter of my lips for definition and paired it with gloss to amplify the look. I'm obsessed with this formula! It glides on so smoothly and leaves the prettiest glossy finish without feeling sticky. 'Cool Spice' ends up being a bit too close to my natural lip color, so I definitely want to pick up a darker shade, but the liner itself is amazing.

I've recently gotten into lip liner and I'm thankfully I don't have to try 26 more and I loved this one.

When I received this item, I was excited to test out a darker berry shade for my darker lipsticks, as well as give more depth to my nude lip colors as well. While the lip liner was glossy and have great color payoff, I was disappointed by the longevity. It's a Mac product, and they're known for their longwear products. I know it wasn't claiming to be longwearing, however, I expected the lip liner to last for at least 4 hours before reapplying. It did not last even one hour. I I two stars because I love the color payoff and it was applied smoothly, but that's about it. Please consider improving the formula. I want to say, I DID receive this product in exchange for a review - I try a lot of products and it's hit or miss. So let me tell you, I was thrilled and extremely pleasantly surprised to find out how much I loved this liner!! I do love MAC products in general, but this liner.... not only did they send me a perfect shade match for my lip tone, but the application is SO smooth, creamy, and blendable, The shine isn't what I would call a high gloss - it's just reflective enough to not be matte and give a natural sheen to the lip, enhancing the shape and size. This may be my favorite liner I have EVER tried. This liner smoothly glides onto your lips and stays there for a couple of hours. Although I wish it was more rigid in place after application, I can appreciate how beautiful and creamy the formula and color pay off is. This product shade is beautiful but is not very long lasting I prefer maybe a more matte formula but with more staying power ( received complementary)
