right out of the box, very comfortable boot.
This is my second pair of the Athens boot that I am reviewing. My first pair was probably 20 years ago. I’ve bought many boots since then and have decided to come back to this boot. I really don’t know why I have chose any other boots than this boot now that I have this pair on. They are comfortable right out of the box. I like my boots pretty tight and I did have to wear them a little loose for the first few weeks to get them worn in but now I can tighten them as tight as I want them.

Fantastically comfortable
Im in warehouse work, walking 9-13 miles a day carrying 50lb bags of pet products and have tried a NUMBER of shoes/boots and these have been the most comfortable yet. Add to that the comfort in the 8" uppers when laced up and I'm in heaven. Love these boots

Good boat nice an water tight
I bought the boot a little over 5 months ago an the sole has started to detach waiting for warranty hopefully to fix or send new pair

Wouldnt recommend
3 days of work. Im a mechanic and im not very hard on my boots. Already tearing at the seams. Very comfortable but dont last. Returning for a full refund.

Hands down the most comfortable boot !
You see all the time people saying “most comfortable boot” . I’m here to tell you , this is the absolute most comfortable boot I have ever put on my feet !!! There is padding on the top, bottom , side of feet ! Awesome support !! Soft and flexible.. I could see these possibly getting warm in the summer .. these boots run big . Seriously! I normally wear a 10.5 and I had to get a 9.0 . These felt wayyyyyyyyy superior then thorough good and ariat . I promise !

First Pair Was Good, then Georgia Changed Them
I bought a pair of Georgia Athens boots about 3 years ago. Wore them all the time. I like them a lot. But wore them out after a while. Nothing wrong with that. Decided to get another pair. But when I got them I noticed they felt a little different than the previous pair. Not sure what it was, but something was off. I then looked at the sole. The new pair has stitchings on the sole. They’re already fraying after 2.5 months of work week wear. Also, after only 2.5 months, my new pair is already leaking. Sprayed them off with the hose today and my feet were soaked. Not happy at all. Never had an issue with the old pair.

Great book for concrete
Very good wearing boots. Only issue found is longevity of bottoms coming unglued.
