Mango Women's Buckle Leather Moccasins

Shoes were packaged extremely well and shipped quickly through Macys. However, MANGO website did not get good reviews if ordering directly from them. At first glance, the shoes look GORGEOUS, very stylish and classic, well-structured with a perfect sized horsebit gold buckle, sewn evenly and overall made pretty decent for the price! They are supposed to be "BOVINE LEATHER" which is a genuine leather by-product from the food cattle industry making these loafers a sustainable and eco-friendly choice. However, to me they do not look like genuine leather. There is absolutely no leather smell and the finish on the loafers is very shiny even though they do look polished and classy when wearing them. They are a little stiff at first and need to be broken in somewhat and I felt like they most definitely needed better cushioning in the footbed. The outside soles seem to be made well with a generous 7/8" heel height. Also, only one standard width may be a problem for some. Sizing is accurate.
