ROCKY Men's Alpha Force Side Zip 400G Insulated Public Service Boot

I have been wearing this boot for over 5 years for work. I'm a correctional officer in Texas. I also wear them for hiking and some outside work at my house.

I had bought these boots a month ago. They’re great boots. Not much ventilation as described but comfortable.

I bought them because my husband Loves the ankle zipper on his previous boots and they are hard to find in larger sizes. These boots are true to size, fit my husband's large feet well and offer great support! He has mentioned that the ankle cuff is a little tall (reminds him of his jump boots) but overall the fit is great!

I’ve been using Alpha force boots for the last 3 years and have loved every step in them. They are great in all environments works rural EMs has brought me. Having zippers on the boots making getting up at night to respond to a call so much smoother.

When we found these boots we were so excited My husband bought a pair about 16 years ago when he first got his bike. And they just now started falling apart. When we found the same boot on your site that we got years ago, we were so surprised!! Thank you very much. My husband loves these boots and would have been very disappointed if he couldn't find him another pair. 👍

In 35 years I have only bought 3 pairs of boots all are Rocky Boots this was my third pair I love this brand and will only buy this brand I highly recommend them they work great for me

This is my 2nd pair, the first pair lasted about 3 years, not too bad, because they are insulated i don't wear them from May to September. These boots run a little on the small side, i wear a 9&1/2, but with these Rocky Alpha Force i have to wear a 10, and they're snug but fit. I've had the new boots about 3 months and the right boot already leaks a bit, not alot, but it's annoying, and i'm not walking in puddles. The side zippers are cheaper- my left boot won't zip all the way up, and the right boot won't zip all the way down, if i spend about 3 minutes per boot zipping 2 teath at a time using my other hand getting material out of the way, the zippers will work. The laces... are cheaper, the old boots would just zip on and off and stayed tied, these i need to re-tie twice a week. It's still a decent boot, the insole is padded and comfortable, and i would still recommend it, just know that the quality isn't what it used to be

The boots take a little time to break in.They are comfortable and warm as I wear them out to work in my shop. The reason only 4stars is I love the side zippers on them but one boot it gets hung up sometimes. It’s not enough to send them back just a pain if I get in a hurry when I take them off. I would buy another set in a heart beat. I love the side zippers for the ease of putting them on, and it is my second set of their side zippered boots. The first set worked perfectly. Thanks Rocky!! The best boots ever as I have had 4sets in over 30 years!!

Precisely as described, fit great and grips great on ice and snow. Pretty much no break in, warm and repels water quite well. And they're a lot less expensive than my old favorites that cost over five times the price now. And an added bonus, they're not polish hungry out of the box like some boots I've had are, well treated leather. Now, if only they could fly...
