The bad: There was no way I could punish myself into trying to wear them, the steel toe caps are way too pointy, crushed my toes together. The return process was easy, but took about 11 days to get my refund. The uppers around ankles & calves was also crazy loose, the felt and look like wearing loose leather leg warmers over top leather shoes. The lace hardware also seemed kind of tiny, they don't inspire confidence. Overall fit was fairly loose (except toes!), especially around the ankle/calf, but there was also a lot of heel slip. I test wore them with my normal work socks, and my normal work insoles from another pair of boots. The good: I caught them on spring sale, and they would have been a great value if they fit better. An excellent looking "Vibram" style lugged sole. Full welted construction that would be easily resoled anywhere. Good looking synthetic "waterproof" liner, if you're into that sort of thing.

I bought these boots 10 months ago. I have been very rough with them as I was a semi truck tire tech for a while and now I work running underground fiber optic cable. These boots are very comfortable after the break in period (about a month or so) and especially if you change the insoles. The steel toe is visible now, but I'll admit I don't take care of them well. I'm changing the laces now. They're still fully waterproof and they hold up well on oily surfaces. I like them.
I still use mine, same model as these that I bought in 2003. I've re-soled them twice now. Yes, they are beat up, but that's what they're for.
These boots are the best for me,why? Good, pretty and at an excellent price and best of all, durable, excellent so much so that I bought 2 pairs!!
Good looking boot could use more padding in the sole
Love Georgia Boot. But I can’t wear these. I bought the wide size. They always fit well. But I only wore these twice. The toe box is much narrower than the others I’ve bought. They really compress my feet and toes on the sides. They’re just too uncomfortable to wear. I’ll still buy Georgia Boots. But these ones I can’t wear.
This is my second pair of these boots. I have worn Justin most of my adult working life but they were not available so I tried these. After 10 months, when I had worn them out, it was a no-brainer to order another pair. I will continue to wear Georgia Boots.
The boots fit true to size and firmly hold my feet. The boots required about a 10-minute break-in period when I first put them on, but after walking around the house, the stiffness went away, and they are flexible and comfortable to wear. They have a liner that provides padding and adds to their comfort. The boots' heavy leather, lacing system, steel toes, and sturdy soles and heels give me confidence that my feet are protected [which is why I purchased this type of boot] and enable me to do the job when I use them for everything from working in the soil to using my chainsaw to fell, buck and carry away 60-foot pines. Additionally, I have no trouble in driving my truck when wearing these boots.
My husband loves these boots, I made the mistake of buying him a different brand about 8 mos ago and believe me, I’ve listened to the griping since. I bought him his Georgia Pacifics for Christmas and back in his good graces!
