Donna Karan New York Women's Metallic Brocade Sleeveless Wrap Ball Gown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ball gown is beautiful. It is shades of gold with shimmer. It has a gorgeous silhouette. It is made very well. It is heavy and has layers of crinoline to keep the ball gown shape. It has a zipper closure on the back. I am 5’6” tall and this touches the floor with ease so I would say up to 5’8 or 9 it would still touch the floor. The material has no stretch. It is lined. I also like that the straps are wide so no undergarments will show. This dress is a gift to my sister as she goes to a charity gala every year so that’s why it is not shown on the body. I will add photos after the next gala.

What a stunning shimmery dress, perfect for mother of the bride who wants to feel beautiful but also cover any imperfections. Lovely drape on the bottom and sexy but not too revealing on top. I find gowns to be tight in the rib cage so I had to order a size larger than normal, for the dress to fit comfortably. What a beauty though. I’m 5’ 4’, 178lbs, and I normally wear a 14. Bought the dress in a 16. Very long. Needed altering in length and straps.

I loved the shimmery gold in the pattern - very pretty dress! It draped well on me but too many panels in the front that may have ironed out/drycleaned out. Beautiful dress but wasn't showing off the weight loss that I've worked so hard on for my daughter's wedding.

Anyways the dress is for special occasions not for ecery day use so I will suffer its stiffness this new year celebration. I would recommend sizing it up as it has no stretch.

The design is beautiful with a hint of metallic shine but not enough that it is overpowering. This dress makes it so easy to look like a million bucks. The material is durable and will last for years.

Loved wearing the dress, it fit great. It did require some minor alterations but otherwise it was perfect as a size 12. Many times I try on a size 12 and it either feels like a 10 or a 14, not this beautiful dress. Lastly, it was a hit at the wedding. I recieved compliments all night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a beautiful gown! Such a easy-going design that is comfortable and elegant. The fabric is Lux. It has pockets and bra strap holders on the shoulder and has just enough lift underneath to help it flow.

I ordered this gown for a up coming wedding. I must say that it’s beautiful, I feel like a princes wearing it. I am size 6, 5’1 I ordered it because the description says it’s 51” long it is not it’s 62” too long for me. I will be return it.
