I absolutely love this watch! I feel like a new runner all over again. I was using the FENIX 7 for a few years, and I loved it, but this watch absolutely blows it away. I look forward to the next run every day.
Great watch for running, tri, and brick workouts! Really happy with the way it works! Super Easy to use, with multiple different functions! Super lightweight, great for races and hard training sessions, when you need to be your fastest!

I’ve been wearing my Garmin Forerunner 970 for just over two weeks now. I am highly satisfied with my purchase. My watch is very durable and easy to use. I use it to track my CrossFit work outs and my runs for marathon training. I’m hoping to get into triathlons in the future and be able to use my watch for that as well. I’ve got my husband talked into making the switch from Apple Ultra to the forerunner as well. He is impressed.
Great watch! It provides plenty of details/stats on run, sleep and health. If you came from an instinct like I have, the watch face is not protected like it is with the instinct. The instinct has a raised bevel all around the watch face that protected the screen somewhat. I work outside in some rough conditions. I have had a screen protector since i tooke it out of the box and have already had to replace it twice with about 3 weeks. I work in some tight spaces and have been trying to be more careful not to let the watchface bump anything. I May have to switch back to the instinct at work and back to the forerunner after. Love the vibrant screen. Tried the a phone call on it others stated they could hear me it just sounded lile I was on speakerphone. I could hear them well. Flashlight I had on both watches and love having the feature. I use it way more than I thought I would. Its a great watch packed with a lot of features. Battery life is great too.
The watch is perfect for me as I ride the ElliptiGO, lift weights and hike. Didn't give it 5 starts because the heart rate without the chest strap is inconsistent.
Since 2018, I’ve used the Phoenix 5X, Enduro 1, and Epix, and now I’ve purchased the Forerunner 970. What I love most is how incredibly lightweight it is. Despite being so light, it offers a wide range of features. The AMOLED display on the Epix already felt like a whole new world, but now the functions are so diverse that I sometimes don’t even know where to start. I hope the durability continues to improve compared to the previous 9 series. Thank you!
ECG doesnt show no matter how much updates i do, and there support wasnt helpful they just tell you what they have online which i already know
