It didn’t cause me purging, yes I know it can be normal, but this one is really good even though for sensitive skin! However my skin in the winter tends to be VERY dry. I did notice some flaking on my face but again I would blame this on my own skin not the product itself. My overall skin barrier and skin itself does look way better. Blemishes are gone. I would give this product 5 stars if my skin wasn’t so dry.

The texture is lightweight, absorbs easily, and leaves a soft, silky feel on the skin without feeling heavy. It does have a light scent that I personally don’t love, but it’s not strong or irritating. One important thing I learned is to shake it well before using it—the serum should be yellow. The first time I didn’t shake it enough and it came out clear. With consistent use, I’ve noticed smoother texture and less redness, especially around healing breakouts. I also appreciate that it includes a peptide complex, which feels like a nice added benefit for more mature skin, not just acne-prone skin. Since I already use retinol regularly, my skin handled it well, but I would recommend beginners start slowly (2–3 times a week) to avoid irritation. Overall, it’s a gentle yet effective retinoid option for blemish-prone skin that also focuses on texture and skin quality.

The texture absorbs easily, it lays well under make up, mixes nicely with my other skincare, and it somehow manages to decrease my clogged pores without causing the flaky redness my retin a prescription caused.
