As a plus-sized woman, they were sturdy and received compliments! There was plenty of room in the toe box and around the calf; after all, I ordered the extra-wide calf. I would recommend adding cushioning because my feet hurt after about 3 hours.

These are such pretty boots but run super big. Order at least half a size down or even a full size down.

The extra wide is really just regular wide calf. Nice boot. The heel is high. Not for too much walking or standing.
