This is quite the nice downspout splash block! First off, I really like the way it looks. I have it placed under the downspout on the corner / side of my garage (on the asphalt of my driveway). It sufficiently keeps the water coming down from splashing against the garage. It is quite lightweight, so I did have to place a brick on the part that goes against the garage (this is fine by me; I understand that there are holes for stakes as these are usually placed on a lawn / grassy area and mind is on asphalt). Water does tend to pool a bit more in itself than previous splash blocks have (it could have a slightly steeper angle to prevent this), but, as this does not technically affect its performance for my purposes, this does not bother me. Overall I'm a fan of this splash block and, if you're looking for a more lightweight option (as opposed to stone splash blocks), this is a great idea (especially if you're using it in a grassy area)!

This was nice because it was lightweight, compared to the concrete ones we already had. The holes make it seem like you're supposed to attach it somewhere, but there was no instructions.
