Breville Luxe Brewer™ Glass

I am extremely happy with this coffee maker. It is a simple and straightforward design, very easy to use and makes great coffee. I appreciate the two different filter baskets, and the removable water tank, as well as the programmable timer. It is very easy to clean and looks great on my counter. I highly recommend.

I want to make sure that my review is understood for what it's supposed to be! I love Breville!! I've had the espresso machine for 8years now and still going. I bought this particular machine expecting somewhat of the same, four months into my ownership, the heating plate stopped keeping my coffee hot and the plate started peeling and staining my counters! It also emits this real gross smell ( Chemically derived ) that concerns me. I've reported it and just shipped it back for replacement. So far I am in the process of wait and see what happens; if it's replaced or repaired, or how long it will last etc. For this kind of money this should not be happening, therefore buyer beware. This seems to me as if it's probably a pattern with this particular unit.

Just received and set up a couple of days ago and found the set up procedure very frustrating. I had to do a factory reset and start over because I missed a setting that I tried to set later only to find out, by using a chat bot, can only be performed during set up. I also found that making a mistake and hitting the wrong button will start the brew process with no way to stop it other than unplugging it. I also can’t figure out how to turn off the keep warm function. All of this frustration could have easily been avoided in the product’s design with the simple addition of an on/off switch or a cancel button. The machine has neither of these. Also the set up instructions are very confusing. Makes a great cup of coffee but it’s a frustrating experience.

Quick and easy and a lovely cup of coffee.

We have had this coffee maker for less than 6 months. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because my husband likes it. (Brand name) I have been very disappointed in it. It's harder to clean, drips water (steam condensation) all over the counter, and looses a part in the filter basket often. It's a good thing that I look before empting the coffee grounds. I would have thrown it (the part) in the trash. Worst coffee maker we have ever had...but the most expensive!

I have the Luxe Brewer Glass coffee machine for 6 months. It makes decent coffee. The problem is the shower ring keeps falling off and into the coffee grounds. I almost threw it out with the grounds. Every time I screw the ring in it gets harder and harder to catch and tighten! Very frustrating. Very poor design!

Overall good coffee machine, great taste but heating mantle is too hot, makes the coffee burnt almost immediately. I wish there was a way to reduce heating pad below.

Coffee maker works great. Directions for setting everything up could be better but with the help from youtube we have it all set now.

It’s a great coffee system!! Easy to use and makes great coffee

The coffee carafe and the whole brewing system is gorgeous and very easy to clean and use. The way the system for brewing ahead of time is designed is a little primitive but it works. You have to tell it what time it is now and then when you want it to brew every time. For the price and claim of luxury it really should just have an internal clock you set once - but other than that small detail 5 stars honestly.
