I admit I was a little skeptical. Some of my old favorite, oh so comfortable wedges and slingbacks had fallen apart on me, so I had new cute summer clothes but no shoes to pair them with! Viscata popped up on my Instagram feed. I've been burned trying new clothing/shoe companies that I come across online, and according to the sizing chart my size would be quite different from my usual. I'd also never worn espadrilles before. But the Viscata styles looked beautiful and elegant, not clunky and bad-boho-chic. So I ordered five pairs and promised myself I'd return half of them, if I liked any at all. Well, I'm a convert and ended up keeping every single pair. The fabric colors are gorgeous, the cut of the shoes stylish. They fit true to size based on their chart, even after time outside on a sunny afternoon. They're incredibly light on my feet. And I can walk in the heeled styles comfortably! (Including across bumpy fields and gravel paths to get to a company picnic.) One shoe came with a dark spot on the jute but this didn't bother me nearly enough to want to return them.

This is my second pair of this style. Love the look and the fit. Never uncomfortable. Let’s me be comfortable and still look good.
These have a lovely wedge heel which looks great with a skirt or dress. They are stable and easy to walk in. I walked all over Paris on a hot summer evening and my feet never hurt once. They will be your summer staple.
The quality overall is pretty good. Color is amazing I got so many compliments on it. I did feel it was a little narrow.
This is my second pair of Palomeras and I love them. The canvas lets your feet breathe on hot days, and despite the pointed toe they break in quickly. The slingback style is so timeless and dresses up any summer outfit.

The fit was perfect. The only issue was next to the buckle. There was a piece of glue or some sort of binding that I had to file down because it was cutting into side of my foot. Once I fixed that they were perfect.
The shoes are beautiful. I ordered two pair - the sling back and low heeled wedges. Unfortunately they are too small and the next size up is sold out. Sadly I have to return.
