Givenchy Le Rouge Interdit Satin Hydrating Lipstick

This lipstick didn't disappoint. First of all, the case is total class. The lipstick formula gives you nice pigment payoff but doesn't dry your lips.

Lovely feel on lips and the #231 Rose is a beautiful shade for my fading tan.

The leather cover on the tube is also gorgeous, great statement packaging. It’s a super silky texture and perfectly satin look.

The pigmentation is so lovely. One swipe is all you need. Avd there isn’t any heavy scents that normally give me a headache. I love this lipstick !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got shades #111 Nude Blush and #231 Rose Désinvolte. As with all Givenchy lipsticks, the colors IRL are more muted and warm-toned than the photos online show. #111 was returned without even trying it, because I could tell it would be way too warm (brown) based for my light, cool-toned complexion. I had better luck with Rose Désinvolte. It does have a cool undertone, although not exactly as bright a shade as shown online. The formula is okay. It's got standard lipstick longevity and moisturizing properties. The case is nice, as with all Givenchy lipsticks. I will note that there is ONE slim inch of lipstick in this, so not a great deal for the hefty price, if you're looking for value...
