Look cheap and hard to get backs off

I have bought several pieces of Bernini earrings all have been quite lovely. But these I honestly have to say look cheap the coating over this silver it’s not the same as their other pairs. I’m going to keep them though because I do like having the gold and silver on my ears at one time and I like the shape .
