This fragrance is so nice. You spray it on and get one note, then as the day progresses, the notes change. Just wish it had a bit more staying power especially since it's so expensive. Thought the expense was due to more perfume oils but I don' think that's the case. Since it's somewhat cost prohibitive, I will probably not be purchasing it again even though I really like it.
Ghost scent disappeared within the hour of usage; wasted money.
I sampled this awhile back feom a Byredo sampler set, & found that I craved it after it was gone. Even though it has been around along time, I find it super unique. I actually prefer the EDP over the absolu version (which is much more linear and fruity). The EDP is a delicious tart pear, floral & woody scent that stays airy and really feels relaxing. The dry down is this addictive cedar that stays slightly sweet. I get a lot of compliments on this one! Even my partner, who rarely comments on my huge fragrance collection, said this is the most unique, pretty smell & his fave on me.

Even with a small spritz, it dispersed widely and covered a large area of my body. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of the aroma. The scent felt too strong for my personal preference, and it didn’t settle in a way that I enjoyed. While the coverage was impressive, the fragrance itself just wasn’t the right fit for me.

It opens with a subtle sweetness from ambrette (think soft, musky, powdery, yet skin-like) and sapodilla (mix of sweet, juicy, pear-like w hint of caramel / honey) then settles into a creamy, slightly powdery floral with magnolia and sandalwood. It’s not loud or overpowering—The wear/longevity is moderate and does not project heavily but instead becomes softer and closer to the skin after a few hours. Truly a fresh and wearable fragrance to make the everyday feel elegant yet understated.

I think it's more of an evening or going out cologne and not an everyday cologne because of how it smells. It was easy to use, didn't irritate the skin and the scent doesn't stay strong.
