I’d give it five stars if it had any arch support, but apart from the lack of that, they’re great. I have a high instep and often can’t pull boots on as the top of my foot can’t get past the narrower ankle part. And though it’s snug with these and I’d love that narrowest part to be just an inch wider, I can do it. But I won’t be able to use thick socks. Just the same, once on, these boots are solid.
I only wear legacy xtratufs and I live in a rural part of Prince of Wales Island, Alaska. They are so great, and these ones are also soooo pretty.
Verify that the calf size works for you. If you have an athletic build, this will most likely be too tight. Boots also arrived with crusty white splotches that did not remove with suggested soapy water. But I love the color and roomy toe box
