Black & Decker 2-Speed 200-Watt Immersion Blender

My family always turns our attention to warm, hearty soups and sauces as the air gets more crisp. Our new Black + Decker Immersion Blender fit into these plans perfectly. We brought it out the day after it arrived to make the first butternut squash soup of the season. Since our kids are always more likely to eat things when they help make them, my seven-year-old immediately volunteered to be the first to blend. Turns out, this immersion blender is so easy to use, she had no problem at all jumping right in. My husband did eventually step in to assist, but the Black + Decker Immersion Blender made short work of the chunky roasted vegetables. By the end, we had a beautiful soup that we’re already fighting over the leftovers of and an immersion blender that will make sure we can create plenty more throughout the cold season.

It’s small enough to be put away in a cabinet which is important to me, someone who has limited counter space. It comes with a tall container to use with the blender. I used this to blend up a cottage cheese and egg mixture for a lasagna and it blended it down to a liquid in seconds. It’s very quick. The bottom part is removable which makes cleaning the blade easy. I look forward to using this for more in the future - I’m thinking smoothies, dips, etc.

There was not an extreme amount of vibration while I was holding the tool to blend my mushroom soup. The two speeds made quick work of blending my soup into the perfect consistency. It’s thin frame makes for easy storage, and the cord is long enough that it could reach an outlet on either side of my stove top.

I used it to make my pancake mix instead of mixing by hand, It came out so smooth, no lumps, and was so easy to use. I have only used it a couple times but so far it has held up so it should last a long time. It is a good size and the cup it came with reaches to about half the immersive blender.

I could blend up what would’ve been a chunky soup, and could leave it in the pot! Saved me extra dishes to wash. It’s super easy to clean and store away in a cabinet. I love this thing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new immersion blender has made an huge positive impact in our recent cooking! The first meal we made using it was roasting some fresh garden tomatoes and the blending them up to make a delicious spaghetti sauce! Very powerful unit that blends through just about anything. We also use the included blending cup to make quick frozen fruit smoothies for our girls. Cleaning it has been pretty simple as long as you spray it off in the sink immediately after using it. Don’t want to let the food dry on the blender. Black and decker makes some amazing products! Would recommend to anyone who wants an easy to use compact and fast blending option for their kitchen!

I’ve used it for blending up a soup and a smoothie, and it worked really well for both. I love that it doesn’t take up much space and it’s easy to clean. I can definitely see it being something that I will use more than I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to use and extremely effective. I made a basil vinaigrette that started out with very little amount of liquid so I was unsure if the immersion blender would work or if I would need to use a stand blender. It worked absolutely perfect! I included a picture of my salad with the delicious dressing that was a HUGE hit with my coworkers. The blender was also extremely easy to take apart and clean!
